St Margaret's Church, Burnage

Together we aim to: Worship God, Proclaim Jesus, Grow in the Spirit and Serve the World

St Margaret's Church an Evangelical Anglican Church situated in the heart of Burnage. Part of Manchester Diocese the church here has been a worshipping community since 1875. Our worship is alive and varied. We try to enable everyone in our Church family to offer, share and develop their gifts within our worship times and in their Christian living. People of all ages are welcome and we encourage families to worship together.

As an Evangelical church we try to learn and teach what the Bible has to say to us, and our sermons and home-groups reflect that aim.

As a family we aim to grow spiritually together and we have a range of groups to suit all ages from the Urban Saints groups for younger children, to youth group, a variety of home groups and Tuesday group for the over 50’s young-at-heart.

We are active within the community of Burnage but we are also aware of the needs of the wider world and we are dedicated to support our mission links by our giving and through our prayers.

St Margaret's magazine, In Touch, is currently delivered to about 4000 homes in Burnage.

In time we hope to increase the magazine's circulation to include every home in our parish. Our aim is to reflect things that are happening in Burnage and to share the hope and love of Jesus with our friends and neighbours. there are three editions each year, Easter, Harvest and Christmas.

Easter 2019 sees the start of our in touch archive which we hope to build up over the coming years.
